Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Abundant Life Apostolic church is fully committed to teaching the young about Jesus and the ministry He had here on earth. It says in Mark Chapter 10
13And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
We have a wonderful, growing Sunday School Department in our church and believe me, the kids walk away having learned about God and His grace and mercy. We want and strive for the kids and youth of our church to get to know Jesus. We encourage them to go to the altar and to seek after the things of the Lord. There is nothing more precious than seeing one of the youth recieve the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. We are waiting on the Lord's return but we also have an obligation to the children to teach them the ways of Holiness and God's plan of salvation.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
This is PURE worship..plain and simple
