Missionaries
In Mark Chapter 16 it states:
14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Being a missionary takes a calling plus DEDICATION and it really puts the Great Comission into play. Everyone of us are to obey the great Comission but the Missionaries and their families take it literally to the next level and each of us need to help them both in prayer and financially. Since January this year we have had two familes come to Abundant Life Apostolic Church and give us a taste of what is going on in their respective countries they evangelize in. The Lord is adding daily to His Church and hearing the awesome stories and testimonies these missionaries bring to us should only energize us to get out and bring the Good News of Jesus Christ everywhere we go.

In Feburary, we were blessed by having the Tir family visiting us and bringing us the news of their missions work in Serbia and Slovakia. Slovakia was once a part of Czechoslovakia and Serbia was once part of Yugoslavia, both communist countries before the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Apostolic message is being received and the church is growing in both nations. PLEASE, remember this family as they are evangelizing in two nations and that means they have to speak in two different languages and learn two different cultures.
May 14th we will be blessed by the Corbin family who are doing a HUGE work in the country of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is surrounded by India and is in the delta of the Ganges river which drains into the Bay of Bengal. After India and Pakistans Independence, they were a part of Pakistan due to their population being more muslim than hindu but in the 70's they gained their independence and became their own country.
The Corbin's have put out Newsletters in PDF format and if you really want to know what thye have been doing for Jesus, Abundant Life Apostolic Church has provided them below
Read the newsletters and be encouraged and PLEASE pray for this family and all the people of Bangladesh. Pray revival sweeps this small nation and it's people. There is alot of suffering in this land so let us join in prayer and pray that God opens the eyes of everyone there and that He blesses them!
The United Pentecostal Church International is a very mission oriented church and the foreign missions department publishes three different newsletters covering all the missonaries in the various countries throughout the world. Below you will find all the newsletters put out in 2008 thus far including a Mission Directory.
(All newsletters and the directory are in PDF format and will open in a new window.)

We, as a church, need to support and pray for these families who go out inot the missions field. Prayer and financial support is necessary to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please take the time to read about what is going on and read about the awesome miracles God is doing throughout the world. When you get to meet these front line soldiers in God's Army, tell them Thank You and that You truly appreciate what they do and above PRAY for these wonderful men and women (and their children).
